PROCEDURE
Our surgeons have considerable experience with large breast augmentations. Many of the women who choose large breast implants have already successfully undergone a breast augmentation of 500 cc or less, and then decide that they would like to increase their breast size further. Whether this will be your first breast augmentation, and you know you want to start with large breast implants, or if you currently have implants and want to consider big breast implants, our team can advise you about various implants sizes from 625 cc to 1000 cc and every size in between.

RECOVERY
Large breast augmentation requires some extra care in regards to recovery. Bed rest, along with plenty of fluids, is necessary after surgery. When larger breast implants are placed under the muscle, your chest will feel tight and you will have some discomfort. Our team will prescribe appropriate pain management medications. Take your medication regularly and keep your office visits. In general, a week after surgery you will begin to feel back to normal.
You will awake from surgery with a surgical bra in place, this bra will need to be worn for 4 weeks after surgery. Steri strips that cover your incision will be removed 4-6 weeks post op. We ask that you keep these tapes clean and dry for as long as possible. You will not be able to shower until your surgeon gives you the “green light”. Initially, breast implants will appear to be slightly higher than normal and your breasts will be swollen. Over time, the breast implants will descend to a more natural position.
