RECOVERY
Since the granny makeover is comprised of multiple procedures, and every granny makeover is different for each patient’s needs, the actual surgeries and surgery lengths vary. Normally, the Granny Makeover surgery is performed in either one or two surgeries, with each individual surgery ranging in from 3 to 6 hours. In regards to the breast augmentation portion of a granny makeover the are a variety of factors that affect the procedure. Placement of the implant is usually centered on the nipple-areola. Often, placement above or below the muscle is decided on an individual basis. Likewise, the incisions used to place the implant vary with patient preference and anatomy.
