What is Juvéderm Ultra?

What can I expect from a Juvéderm Ultra treatment?

At Prime Med Spa, you don’t have to worry about leaving our office with “trout mouth.” At your initial consultation, we’ll ask you to describe the natural look you’re going for, whether it’s more definition, symmetry, or a fuller, softer aesthetic.
We’ll then prep your skin before administering a series of small injections along the vermilion border, Cupid’s bow, and inside of your lips. If you’re sensitive to pain, don’t worry. Juvéderm Ultra contains lidocaine, a local anesthetic that minimizes discomfort at the injection site.* We can also apply a topical anesthetic to numb the area before treatment at your request. Finally, your injector will gently massage the treatment area to sculpt the filler into the proper areas and ensure your lips are completely smooth.

Following treatment, you’ll leave our office with noticeably fuller lips than you arrived with.* You may experience temporary redness and swelling in the first few days, but these side effects are mild and manageable for most patients.* There’s no downtime following treatment, though we do recommend skipping your workout and avoiding direct sunlight and alcoholic beverages for the first 24 hours.
