What is Juvéderm Ultra Plus?
uvéderm Ultra Plus is a thicker version of its sister filler, Juvéderm Ultra. This makes it ideal for correcting severe wrinkles, deep nasolabial folds, and marionette lines, as well as for filling in areas of the cheeks and temples that have lost volume.*
Like other fillers in the Juvéderm collection, Juvéderm Ultra Plus contains hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found in the skin that absorbs water and delivers nutrients. Over time, our hyaluronic acid levels become depleted, causing the skin to lose structure and sag. Juvéderm Ultra Plus replenishes natural hyaluronic acid that has been lost, acting like a sponge to fill in wrinkles and folds and adding support to sunken areas.*
The extra water Juvéderm Ultra Plus pulls to the skin’s surface also gives your complexion a fresh glow and softer texture.* As a final trick, the hyaluronic acid in Juvéderm Ultra Plus triggers new collagen production, further firming and plumping your skin over time.*

After learning about your goals and expectations for treatment, we’ll clean the injection sites with an alcohol swab to prevent infection. At your request, we can numb the injection areas with a topical anesthetic and/or ice pack to minimize discomfort. Then, you’ll feel a tiny pinch as we inject the gel into your skin where you’d like to reverse the signs of aging.* Finally, we’ll sculpt the Juvéderm Ultra Plus to smooth it out and direct it to the right areas. The entire procedure takes between 15 and 40 minutes.
You’ll leave the Prime Med Spa office looking noticeably younger than you did when you walked in.* One injection of Juvéderm Ultra Plus lasts between six months and a year, depending on how fast your body breaks it down.* We recommend one to two touch-up treatments per year to maintain smooth, lifted results.
